About Nancy Elizabeth
Creative Director · Fashion Designer · Cultural Storyteller
Nancy Elizabeth is a multidisciplinary creative rooted in Pasifika identity, visual storytelling, and fashion as narrative. With nearly 20 years of experience as the creative director of LIFT Island and the visionary behind Nancy Elizabeth Creative Studio, she specializes in crafting cultural moments through couture collections, editorial campaigns, short films, and live experiences.
Whether she is designing garments woven with pandanus, directing fashion films like TAPA: The Cloth That Binds Us, or curating runway presentations that honor legacy and innovation, her work bridges heritage and modernity with intention. She leads every project from concept to execution - styling, storyboarding, directing, and crafting visual language that speaks across cultures.
Her designs have walked international stages - from Sydney and Auckland to Los Angeles and Salt Lake City - and her visual work has screened at film festivals across the U.S. and Pacific. With each collection, each frame, and each collaboration, her goal is to tell stories that carry Pasifika people forward.
