As creative director, costume designer, and stylist, Nancy shaped the concept, designed the performance looks, built the visual mood, and directed the on-set presentation for both the dance film and photo series. Every detail—from movement framing to garment texture—was crafted to highlight the pride, strength, and generational spirit embodied by Tupulaga’s dancers.
Filmed in an industrial downtown L.A. studio, the contrast between modern architecture and traditional Polynesian movement symbolized the merging of past and future. The final deliverables included a dance film, portrait series, and promotional assets for both digital and community platforms.
